Hi,

This is how this system looks like:

FileMaker Server 5.5 v1 running on a G3 in OS 9.2.

Accessed by 25 users running FM6 under OS X :

They are changing the server to Panther, so I guess it's the right time to move FM Server to a G4 (OS X ver 10.3.3, 500Mhz processor, 512 MB SDRam).

According to the FMServer 5.5 Administrator's Guide of FMS 5.5, it can run under OSX, but it wouldn't be able to open FM6 databases (only FMP 5.x)

... does that mean that we have no option but to upgrade to FM Server 6?

There is no FM Server 6. Use FM Server 5.5v4 in OS X.
