To export my data to the web I need to substitute: ' with '

example: I'm Michele, becomes I'm Michele.

Apparently filemaker doesn't understand my calculation:

Substitute(detail_user, "'", "'")

Because nothing changes. How can I make this calculation work? The version I'm working with is FM5.0.

Hi Michele,

Your calculation Substitute(detail_user, "'","'") works for me. Do you have Smart Quotes on? If so, turn it off in the Document Preferences.
