I am trying to create an XSLT from a Word document so I can create a similar word doc direct from FM6. I understand that there are some 3rd party tools to do this but would like to know if I can produce one myself without needing to spend hours learning code.

Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do? A secondary question is whether I can produce a PDF automatically from FM6 either directly or via FM scripting.

You'd need to get familiar with the XML structure of both the Word document and the FileMaker XML format.

There's a Word example on the FileMaker website: www.filemaker.com/xml

The best 3rd party tool for this is EZxslt from chapsoft.com.
