gareece Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 I am trying to create an XSLT from a Word document so I can create a similar word doc direct from FM6. I understand that there are some 3rd party tools to do this but would like to know if I can produce one myself without needing to spend hours learning code. Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do? A secondary question is whether I can produce a PDF automatically from FM6 either directly or via FM scripting. Thanks.
Wim Decorte Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 You'd need to get familiar with the XML structure of both the Word document and the FileMaker XML format. There's a Word example on the FileMaker website: www.filemaker.com/xml The best 3rd party tool for this is EZxslt from chapsoft.com. HTH Wim
