Sort data within same record

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a layout with 6 fields: 3 color codes and 3 color names for each record. When I enter the color name it shows the correspondent code, included in another data base.

After entering the names, could be shown like this:

fields 1,2: 100, White

filed 3,4: 001, Black

field 5,6: 250, Khaki

Is it possible to make a bottom that sort them by code after entering the names? (switching the content of each field)

field 1,2: 001, Black

field 3,4: 100, White

field 5,6: 250, Khaki

Thanks in advance

If you have the colours already in a separated related db, You can use a portal for the colour list. in the relation options you can define the colour id as sort field for your related data.
