I have a database with an auto increment serial field. When I try to import data from a tab file. This field doesn't auto increment. It's just blank. Now I have hundreds of records with this field blank. How can I fill this field after the records are already there?

Please advise.

First, the most likely cause of the auto-increment not appearing is you did not check the perform auto enter when importing.

To fix, go to the field, and do a replace. Choose serial numbers, and be sure to check update auto-enter options. You will then have the numbers.
