Armand Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 I have an issue with a W2KPro machine hosting a file and not allowing an XPPro machine to open as guest, BUT the XPPro machine can HOST the file REMOTELY, and then the W2K box (where the file is Local) can open as GUEST. Wim Decorte Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 The scenario that works indicates that you have OS level file sharing going on. Don't! That is the #1 cause for damaged files.
