Hi people,

My goal here is have a record with three fields. Name; Address; City State Zip format. What would be the best or easiest way to import a MS Word file that is formated in a three line label. The problem I get is when exporting from Word I get each line as a new record. So my txt file comes out as:

Name

Address

City State Zip

and not as one record with three fields per record.

Name Address City State Zip

I can't see any options in word to export this as anything other than Word Document, Text, or RTF etc. You could run it through BBEdit and separate the data with tabs and the records with returns, and then import that into FileMaker.
