Printing portal rows the don't show on layout?

Featured Replies

I've got my Time database that has a daily time record for an employee for each day with a portal to a related database that has the line items records for each job number they work on and the time increments. In my layout, I've set up the portal to show 25 line items, with a scroll bar that allows additonal records greater than the 25 showing.

My desire is to be able to have the employee print a daily time sheet if they'd like that will show all the line items even if it exceeds the 25. Is this possible, if so how?

Thanks

Jana

You should Go to Related Records [show, relationship] and print from the related file.

Or duplicate your layout, but on the duplicate make the portal, say, 100 rows (or whatever max you need) and Sliding up, reducing the size of the enclosing part. Script your print mechanism so that it prints from the duplicate layout.
