Generating a multiple-CC-address email using the Send Mail script step in FMP7 works - but the addresses are separated by a semicolon (:, not a comma (,) as was the case in FMP6. This appears to cause Eudora to fail to parse the whole string. Is this replicable by others? Can I change the ; separator back to a comma?

There seems to be no mention of this in the update guide.

Incidentally, multiple-BCC-addressing does not seem to work at all for me. (Jaguar platform).

?

they ARE separated by a comma......

UNLESS you try to send emails by selecting names manually from Eudora's Addres Book! that is activated when u select option "Specify Email Addresses"

but even with semicolon ";" I get NO errors (win2000- Eudora 6.0.0.22) sooo :

Assuming that you DO store your emails in DB this should not be the problem.

By default you will get a comma as a separator! IF you desire any other custom separator then make a calculated filed that will hold tose separators and email field...eg.

c_emails ="----<"& email &">-----"

But again, Eudora likes to process all 3 formats:

[email protected] , [email protected] ; <[email protected]>

HTH

Take care!

Ummm, Leb i Sol, it looks like a platform distinction - you are WinOS...anyway, I try again today with a new bulkmail message. (The addresses are in the FMP db, btw).
