GSG Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I've never been to Dev Con and I'm thinking about going this year. Does anyone have any thoughts to share. Is it worth going to? What's your favorite part of the conference? Thanks all, Greg
Kurt Knippel Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 Wow, the DevCon is INVALUABLE! I would absolutely recommend going. 1.) the resort is top rate! makes a great vacation! 2.) the speakers are the best and brighest that the Filemaker community has to offer. 3.) You get to meet and talk with most of the Filemaker, Inc staff, including engineers, sales reps, marketing folks all the way up to and including the executive management team. 2 years ago I sat at the dinner table with Chung Le (VP of Product Development), chatting with him for an hour or so. 4.) You get to meet 1500 other developers. Be sure to stop by the FM Forums booth and say hi! 5.) the information is totally inspiring! You will not develope the same again. Especially with Filemaker 7 now out, I am totally psyched about this years DevCon!
GSG Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 Thanks a lot, Kurt. I'm going to try to get there.
