Max'd out on radio buttons

I have a value list that has 20+ enties. I formated the field to radio buttons and found that I can only select up to the 17'th entry in the list. If I try to select below (verticle format) this, I and my mouse are ignored. This is occuring in several different fields and different VL's. How can I go arround this? Is there a fix? Thanks.

If you have to scroll to get to the remaining items, I can see that being a problem. Have you tried making the radio buttons display area wider? If that doesn't work, you can do the following: Take items 18-20 and create a separate value list with just these items. Use the same underlying field to receive the results...in other words, repeat the field name again and attach just the new value list.
