I can understand people who dont like the new fonts, but it suited me just fine. Is there no way for me the go back to as it looked in FMP7 V1?

My arial fonts look like crap with the new update.

Can i set my file up so it shows the old (v.1) fonts?

Sorry FMI, you cant make everybody happy...

Hmm, a bit confusing perhaps. What i ment was:

Is it possible to switch back to the blurry fonts that i had in FMP version 1? After the update (v2) the fonts looks strange? Cant find anything in the documentation of the update.

Is it possible?

Loogi,

Is it because Arial fonts smaller than 12pts don't show up bold...

I am using Arial on Win XP as well, and I didn't mind the new look (v2) when the font size is 12pts or more, but I have bolded field labels using 10 pt and they do not show up as bold on the layout. I changed the font to an MS font ( I think it was MS San Serif). It was very similar to Arial and any size used will actually show up as bold on your layout. Not sure if that is why you think the new fonts look crappy. But if your only using Windows and you don't have that much to change, it might be a quick fix. I'm not to pleased about the workaroud, but I just started developing my first solution in 7, so it's not that big of a deal to me at this point.

I haven't tried it. But I suspect you can uninstall your current v7.2 and reinstall v7.1. And then follow Michael Myett's recommendation (LOL).

321,

Thats correct. I would like my 10pts Bold Arial to be bold, nothing else. I tried Microsoft Sans Serif 9pts Bold. It looks like the "old" arial, 10pts, bold.

Thanks!
