alkhall
Creating a read-only file on Win XP. using FMP Dev 7. What other Windows versions will I be able to run my runtime files on with no problems? Thanks for your help.
DanBrill
From what I read, Win 2000 or Win XP. But I can't imagine it wouldn't work on Server 2003. Maybe NT? Again, from what I read, not on 95, 98, ME, etc. I learned to expect different behaviors for some things using FM6 on various op sys's. I usually tend to break down the operating systems into FAT v. NTFS disks.
The Shadow
I don't recall from where I heard it, but I think NT is out - Win 2000 is the lowest for the "NT" family, XP for the home versions.
niallmac
Nope, you're right. Runtimes from 7 definitely don't work on NT Niall
