NuttyMoose Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Ok I know there is alot of posts with this question...and I have read them all (I think)... My questions is... I have made a script that prints a report then returns to the orginal page. I have put in the script the printing pref. Which works fine...but then I run a seperate script that prints a totally different report and the Paper layout stays like the old report... What I have tried. I have gone to the individual reports and selected print the then selected how I would Like them to print...but when I run the script it just does not stick Any help would be nice Thank you Brahim
-Queue- Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Joseph, manually perform your Print Setup and Print steps from the File menu. Then open the appropriate script, click OK, and select 'Replace' for the Print Setup options. This will overwrite that script's settings with the ones you just performed.
NuttyMoose Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 Great... I will do that... Hope this works...or I hope I do this correctly... Thanks
NuttyMoose Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 Ok...So I tried what you said... But my print oprions are different.... I have two options "Perform without dialog" and "Specify Print Options". And I know what you are going to say... and yes I have tired "Specify Print Options" but for some reason they change all of my reports...to the one I select.. Is this a glitch or am I missing a something.. Thanks
NuttyMoose Posted June 16, 2004 Author Posted June 16, 2004 Got it... Thanks for all your help... Brahim
dryerman Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I'm having the same problem. It seams that the setting in the print or print setup script doesn't always stick. I had no problems with fmp5. Fmp7 is a disaster as far as printing goes.
