trouble with host & external scripts: opens files!

When i switch layout from the control panel it opens the other form double before going to the layout...

the files are not relational!

Are you saying that you end up with two of the same files in your Window menu? This means that you have a copy of the file with the same name still your hard drive. Rename the original files or zip them. You never ever want to have copies of FileMaker files with the same name anywhere on your network.
