SoundWeb Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Alright.. I have looked all over for this, maybe someone can help me. Basically I'm trying to print a layout thats 11 x 8 1/2, The problem is, Filemaker is cutting off all my content below about 5 inches on the page. I see the "print area" dotted lines (thats what I assume they are). It seems that Filemaker is cutting off the print at this line, yet the printer can handle another 3+ inches of page!!! I have checked my margins, page setup everything. Even Page Break in the Part Set up.. When I change the paper type, the Width of the print area will change to accommodate larger paper sizes but the bottom line stays at 5 inches! Driving me crazy. System: OSX Panther Printer: HP 8550DN & HP4000 Getting really frustrated here. Please Help. Thanks! D
Fitch Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Printing can be tough to troubleshoot. Are the layout margins set to fixed or not?
Ender Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 You have Page Setup set at to print Letter paper in landscape mode at 100%?
SoundWeb Posted June 28, 2004 Author Posted June 28, 2004 Yeah, I actually finally figured it out... Apparently, The footer was down so low that FM was splitting the page in half. (I have no idea why) but when I shrunk it up, it fixed the problem. Thanks for your quick responses. Appriciate it. Cheers!
Fitch Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 That's funny, I had actually typed out a response to look at the size of the footer, but then I deleted it, because I was accused of insulting someone's intelligence yesterday and I didn't want another incident. I'm glad you solved the problem.
