Find some records and Omit others

Featured Replies

How can I find records within a date range and omit some of those found records at the same time?

2 find requests.

The first one specifies which records to find.

The second one specifies which records to omit, by filling in the criteria then checking the Omit box in the Status Area.

I've made a script for each of these and one will cancel the other out. (each script will do what I have scripted it to do on their own).

When made a new script putting them both into it, with (and without) a "Modify Last Find" it still won't work.

Here's a rough example of each script that I put into another script:

Perform Script [sub-scripts,'which says',"enter find mode, paste date range, perform find"]

(I've tried a "Modify Last Find" sript step here and then eliminated the modify last find in the next script)

Perform Script [sub-scripts,"enter find mode (I've tried "Modify Last Find" here), Insert Text (Bla Bla Bla), Omit Record, perform find"]

What am I doing wrong?
