How do you set the default state of radio buttons when using custom values?

I have 2 radio buttons.

1. Active Custom value = ACTIVE

2. Closed Custom value = CLOSED

When creating a new record I want "Active" to be selected by default.

Hi Frasier13,

Go to File > Define > Database and fields tab. Select the field and click Options.

Add an Auto-Enter data and type ACTIVE in the box. It's midpoint in the Auto-Enter display. wink.gif

Believe it or not I actually tried that earlier as I thought that's how it worked, but I must have been dumb and done something wrong!
