Keeping the data after removing the lookup... ???

Featured Replies

Hey, Forum Members:

I

Any data that's entered via a lookup will stay in place when the lookup relationship is removed. But I'm not sure you're talking about a lookup or about data that's displayed via a relationship. Data that is "in" the Alumni db is there regardless of the relationship. But if it's only "in" in the sense that it's displaying data from the Main db, then you could use the Replace command to put a calculated result (i.e., main::unique id) into some other field.
