Rainy Pass Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 I deleted many passwords from a file, leaving one with full access. When I open the file it will only accept one of the deleted name/password sets. What's up? How can I fix this?
Lee Smith Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 The Bad News is. It sounds like your file may have become corrupt. The Good News. You can always just go back to the copy you made before you started out to make these changes. You did make a backup copy right? Oh, you didn't. Well, at least you can open the files and get at the data, so you could take this opportunity improve you solution, make those changes that you have been thinking about. FileMaker used to offer a service that cost about $100, and involve sending in your files and proof of ownership to them. However, they stopped providing that service about the time v6 came out. Here are a couple of sites that may be of help. http://www.lostpassword.com/filemaker.htm http://www.pwcrack.com/filemaker.shtml Lee
Rainy Pass Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 Recover did not help. The data is of no use to me, just sample data. The file is the begining stage of a solution. I still have the old passwords. Is there a way to export any of the file structure?
