Jul Posted July 16, 2004 Share Posted July 16, 2004 Hi, I use SendMail function but every time I run the script my emails appear in my Outbox in Entourage 2004 and stay there even if the Send and Receive scheduled every minute. It gives me an error message: "Script is attempting to send a file....Do you want to porceed?". As soon as I click OK to this message - it is sent. I want to automate this process so those emails are sent when user opens the file but it is impossible till the user clicks OK to that warning in Entourage... Also does anybody know how to automate this process so that FM sends emails every week at acertain time, not when the user opens database? DO I have to use Applescript for that and if yes - are there any tutorials available? Thank you Jul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TSC Posted July 21, 2004 Share Posted July 21, 2004 Make sure that you have checked perform without dialogue. That will automatically send. You can use a plugin to schedule a script to run and send out the e-mails. Apple Script could also probably do it for you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
