HELP!!! NEED RUNTIME

Featured Replies

just finished creating a database on monitoring water stations can you guys help me ? need to create a runtinme for the said database so that i can run it even if they dont have filemaker installed in there mahchines... i dont have filemaker developer 7 so i cant make that kind of runtime thanks

is this just for a demonstration? If so they can download the Trial version of FMP to run your solution. If it is more permanent then a developer may help you out.

yes. it's for a demonstration / but i dont have the money to buy the developer yet.

i dont want to install my filemaker 7 pro on there machines

so any other solutions???

Well, as Stephen said, you could pay someone a small amount to bind your solution. They would have to be running the specified operating system (not me, I'm not running XP at the moment).

Another inexpensive solution would be to use a compatible external hard drive with FileMaker installed on it (I imagine this would work fine, but have no experience trying this on Windows). You want one anyway :(-) Or borrow a laptop. There's no magic way to run a FileMaker solution.
