This problem is mostly a relationship issue, but the main problem I am having is that I am trying to use IWP to publish my database, and I was told that using a portal would eliminate the problems of commiting each time you edit a record. I want these records to be in list view, so that someone online can just click on a field in a particular record, edit it, then click another field in another record. The problem is, in FMP 7 and IWP, you cannot do that. You must click on a button that commits the record you just edited before clicking on another field in another record. So, if I use a portal that shows all the records in a particular table, based on the zk.constant of 1, lets say, then a user online can edit multiple records without clicking on a button that commits them. But the problem is that I am having trouble with relationships. I have all the fields in the layout that I want to show up correctly in the zk.constant self relationship portal, except the value list field. I am basing the value list off of a calculated field in anoter table. But the thing is that each record in the portal is unique, and has different values for the valuelist. But my result shows all of the values ever possible in each record in the portal in the valuelist. I have tried creating another relationship based on a calulated field that is unique, based upon the zk.constant and the unique value for that record, say the questionID. Now I get only one set of values in the valuelist, the first records values, for all of the records in the portal. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have enclosed the screenshots of anything that would be needed to solve this problem.
