I know you can change the layout ordering via the layout menu, but the problem is that whenever I open my database, or go to it via the web, it always goes to one specific layout type... and it's not the first layout in the layout order. How do you change which layout type it opens to? I'm just trying to make it start with a list I made. Thanks!

Look under Preferences - Document. You have two choices: specify a startup layout, or specify a startup script (and go to layout can be part of the script).

In FMP 7 go to the File Menu and choose File Options. Here you can set the opening layout, script & closing script.
