Run scripts automatically when a User login to db.

Featured Replies

Hi All,

How can I make a script to run automatically as soon as a user login into the database with a password.

I created a calendar and I wanted to hide/ omit the old dates and show only the current and future dates, when the user login, by running a script that would do this.

Thanks 4 all ur help.

Set a script to run on open, either in Edit -> Preferences -> Document pre-version 7, or File -> File Options in 7.

To implement this, should I be going to every client and set the preferences? I am running a fm5.5 server that hosts the databases.

It isn't dependent on the client. You only need to set it once, on either the server file, when there are no guests, or from a guest machine. Note the Edit menu refers to Document (the file) versus preferences that apply to the Application, which would be dependent on each client.
