Printing more than one page in table layout

Hi,

I am trying to print a bunch of records in table format and it is only letting me print the first page, so it only captures the first 5 columns. Is there a way to print a table when it extends more than one page?

I also want to apply sliding to the table so filemaker automatically sizes each box when I print it. As far I can tell I can only use sliding in layout mode and I can't view a layout in table form in layout mode. I am I missing something here? Thanks.

You should have been notified by the system, and I sent you a private mail that this was moved here.

Reading through my question this morning, I am realizing it is unclear. When I say table, I mean going to the view menu and selecting "view as table" so that it is pretty much set up similar to an excel spreadsheet with each field a separate column going across. It only let's me print the first page in this view with about the first 5 columns. Anybody know how to print the entire table? Or, does anbody have a suggestion for making it easier to compare a bunch of records with too many fields to squeeze onto one page?

It does turn out that sliding did work, so that is not a problem for me anymore. I didn't realize it worked at first because the preview does not show it, but then the first page does print out pretty nice.

Can anyone help me out? smile.gif

Thanks!

I don't think you can get things to print that extend off the right page boundary.

You could reduce the scale in Page Setup to make things fit, use different layouts for different groups of data, or use a list view, where you can have fields on top of each other as well as next to each other.
