August 5, 200421 yr Hi Everyone: I was hoping automate a search for the user, but I wasn't sure of the most appropriate way to go about it. Basically, i want them to search on a range of dates, and I don't want to have to have the user memorize the fact they have to type ... I tried creating two global fields (for when the user goes into find mode), where they could enter the first date, and then the second date. However, when I copy it into the actual date field (for actual searching) it just created a question mark (I tried to enter a concatenation of the first global + "..." + the second global). What am I doing wrong? Thanks a bundle! Jim
