I'm trying to set up an FMS 7 server to authenticate against a external server, and to register on LDAP. I am failing miserably confused.gif Has anyone had success getting this to work? FMS 7 is on a Server 2003 machine and were are running MS ADS. Any help would be very much appreciated

I am having similar problems with my setup. I have the same as you except I am running Advanced. I got it to register with the AD server. Make sure you have your naming convention correct and an ou in the ad for the database registration. Other than that, I have not been able to get the user groups to work properly, It continually asks for a user nmae and password after saying that you have no access to the database... Ugh...

Have you installed the latest update for the Advanced Server? As soon as I installed it, I no longer had the problems you were describing.
