Newbies Joertjuh Posted August 12, 2004 Newbies Posted August 12, 2004 I deployed a few filemaker instalations over our network by a grouppolicy.... since i made an msi file...i used the same license key for all of them...but get errors when more then 2 connect to he same dbase....it checks if the serial is the same....offcourse i can reinstall it on the pc's locally with the right serials...but would be easier if i can reset the license key and retype it by editing the registry.....anyone got a clue?
DykstrL Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 There are 2 different install disks: the retail version that checks to see if there are any other copies running on the network with the same install code, and the site license version that does not do this check. If you obtained a site license for FMPRO, you need to use the files on that disk to create your MSI package for installs.
