hi all, I am going to be upgrading our current File Maker Pro version 3.0 to the 5.5 server platform with clients running version 6.0. Where can I find information about the steps I need to take and the order in which this should be done? can anyone provide some helpful hints for me?

Hi Dawn,

It is a pretty easy process. We did this about a year ago. All I did was to open up the FMP3 database in FMP 5 or 6 (doesn't matter which) and it will automatically upgrade the databases. Then just open them up on the FM Server 5. It should go pretty smoothly. If you have any more specific questions about the process as you go along, I could help you out.
