Help.

I am trying to create a script which would find a duplicate record and mark as a duplicate. All my trying has ended in failure. Each record has a unique ID number and their is also a field which would be marked with a "X" if it was a duplicate record. Their about 80,000 records which I must sift through.

Update your profile (the link is just below your name) so we know what Platform, OS and Version of FileMaker you are using.

This questions comes up all of the time (Here is a recent Thread that should help), so doing a search of the forum for Duplicate, Find Duplicate, Finding duplicates, etc. should provide you with an abundance of information.
