Server 5.5 not pausing files during backup

Featured Replies

Please help!

I've recently scheduled FM Server to perform auto-backups. When viewing the backup process through the remote admin (or as recorded in the event log) it doesn't seem as if all the files are being paused during the backup process.

This has me extremely concerned. All the hosted files are being backed-up... and yet they aren't all being 'paused'. How can this be?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it possible that nobody is accessing those files that aren't being paused? I can't remember if the only reason FM Server pauses a database is only if someone is logged into it. That would explain why all of the databases are still being backed up.

I don't think so... the file that's not being paused is the 'work horse' file of the solution.
