August 26, 200421 yr I'm trying to indent the second half of a line without also indenting the first, so that the end result - doesn't (can't do it here either) ---- look like: Category: datadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadata datadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadata datadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadatadata So I'd like all the data evenly indented to the right, leaving space below "category." The problem is, every time I indent part of a line (data) the whole line (including the category) is indented. Any ideas?

August 26, 200421 yr Author yes, that also gives me the problem of having the entire line indented, not just the second part.
August 26, 200421 yr You are not listing, or I'm not saying it so you can understand. Check out the attached simple file. I did the formatting in the Browse Mode bacause. it is easier to "Apply" and see the results without leaving the Text >> Paragraph editor. Once you get the indents the way you want them, you can transfer the information to the Field in layout mode, and make it default for the field. Lee SomeTextwithIndent.fp5.zip
August 26, 200421 yr Author oops . neither myself nor my Mac seems to know what to do with a .php file, and filemaker turns it into a funny looking table, certainly not what you intended.. should I have done something other than click on Attachment?
August 26, 200421 yr You accessed it properly, It's a file format used by this and other sites. Your Browser should have automatically opened it using Stuffit Expander. Stuffit Expander is available in several places such as www.download.com and Aladdin Systems Inc. If it becomes a problem, I can send it to you back channel if you want. Just let me know what email address. Lee
