Papabjoe Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Anyone know of a way I can produce a multi-page layout. I have a few forms that require 2 or 3 pages. I want to avoid 2 or three layout pages. Any suggestions?
RalphL Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 In the layout mode FileMaker shows the end of pages. Put the items for page1 in the first part, Page 2 items in the second and page 3 items in the third. Header and footer will be same for all unless you use Title Header and/or Title Footer.
Papabjoe Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 Unfortuneatly, All that it is a horizontal and vertical "hash" line for the first page. I don't see anything that indicates boundaries for more pages.
Papabjoe Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 Never mind. First I had to delete my footer. Then I extended the Body part down past the first page margin in order to see it. Thanx
eljefejb Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I tried this out, as it seemed to be exactly what I needed. I stretched the "Body" part of the layout down to about 2 pages of length, then typed "Body Page 1" on the first page and "Body Page 2" on the second page. When I print this test out, I get a total of 6 pages... the "Body Page 1" and "Body Page 2" pages, then a blank page with just the header and footer on it. I am guessing the blank page is because I must have dragged the "Body" part border just slightly longer than the cutoff for the second page. What I don't get is why all 3 pages repeat. Any ideas? Thanks, JB
