Newbies debbey hester Posted August 31, 2004 Newbies Posted August 31, 2004 Two days ago I noticed my FP application stalls momentarily while loading the TCP/IP settings. Today, however, it indicates that TCP/IP loaded successfully, however, the program doesn't seem finish loading and after a few minutes the system gives me a "FileMaker Pro not responding" message. What's going on, why did it happen and how do I fix it? thanks, d
-Queue- Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 First, delete all files from your temp folder. Then try again. If it continues, try from another computer, if available. It sounds like the file you're opening may have an infinite loop in its on open script. Are you opening a particular file or just FileMaker itself?
Newbies debbey hester Posted August 31, 2004 Author Newbies Posted August 31, 2004 At this point, I'm just trying to get the application opened. The file I will be opening is on my server. I access it using the "host" button, but I can't seem to get that far now.
