I have two problems with the project I am currently working on. First, I have some databases that will not import, I do a import procedure to import the records from a backup copy of the database stored in a different location. The databases have not changed in structure at all, but it will read the database but will not import them, I have one that will and one that will not. Secondly, there are some databases that are used as notes fields on the main layout, it is not a portal, and I cannot figure out how the programmer was able to do that. When you go to that database and view the layout it is just has a gray screen, with not data visible, but it is visible on the main layout in another database? And one of these database is the one I am having a problem importing Any solutions to these?

In answer to your first problem, check to see that your password privilege allows exporting. If this is turned off, you will not receive a message, and nothing will be exported.
