Slobey Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Hi all, I am interested in putting my database on the web and I have no experience with doing this. I was at Devcon and was told that I can simply use instant web publishing and post it. Most of my scripts need minimal adjusting for web compatibility. Would this make people able to go online to a website and use the solution? One question I have is that with the re-login step it says it is web compatible but displays "Re-Login[Perform with dialog(NOT COMPATIBLE)]", does this mean that it can only perform without dialog?. Pardon my ignorance on this issue but it is new to me. Also, any information on sources that would teach me more about Web based solutions and how to impliment them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Zero Tolerence Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 The Preform with dialog is not compatible, as for some odd reason, IWP can't create a simple pop up window, when any person with 2 minutes of javascript experience can
Kevin Wertz Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I have to think that dialog boxes can't be too far behind. What they have done with IWP is very slick IMO, and I have a feeling they will continue to perfect it in future releases.
