Forcing password screen for a relationship

Featured Replies

I know its possible to force the password screen for a normal database when you're opening it by pressing option or apple or something. Is there any way to force a password screen when a database opens a relationship?

The problem is it isn't asking at all when it should be. The related database IS password protected, but FM is just ignoring that and not displaying any of the related records.

Usually you don't want related files asking for passwords, so to achieve that you set up all your files with the same passwords and groups. It sounds like that is what's happening. I.e., it's supposed to do that.

If you want the related file to ask for a password, set it up with passwords that don't match the parent file.
