Creating a splash screen.

Featured Replies

Hi.

Is there a way to create a splash screen, set a timer to shut it off and then go to a layout? And can you make this splash screen without the tool bar on the left... and then when it opens the second layout.. have the tool bar re appear?

It's probably easy, but I'm new.

Hi Vandy -

You can do this using a startup script. All the items you want are available from scripting in 7, including resizing the splash screen.

Download the free starter template from the samples section and you can see a splash screen in action. It is fully unlocked so feel free to poke around.

Thanks Andy, but I get an error when I try to download the file.

Here is a rough example of one way to do this. (File attached)
