J__ Posted October 5, 2004 Share Posted October 5, 2004 First off let me say I am working on a solution which must work on Mac and Windows XP. I would like to print a report/layout to a pdf file. I tried this by just doing a print and picking pdfWriter and the text is gobbley-gooky looking. The characters have been mutated (heh heh) to something else like russian looking text. Has anyone had this problem? What's the fix? looks great on the mac, but on windows it's like above. oh and on windows it's windows XP sp1 and Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Pro. thanks for your help in advance, sincerely, J__ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

J__ Posted October 19, 2004 Author Share Posted October 19, 2004 Hi, Thanks for the reply, I finally got back to this, other things have popped up, as i'm sure you yourself have probably experienced, I tracked down Scansoft's PDF Create and whiel it states it works with "all platforms" (including Mac OS)... once you go to buy it, it specifically says "Windows" and nothing about mac. do you have a link, which states differently? thanks, sincerely, J__ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
