I'm a newbie at FM7. But making a field required (not empty under validation) traps the user (account defined as a Data Entry privilege) in a loop where data must be entered. What if the user accidently decided to get into this browse mode layout and decided he/she wanted to cancel and not add a new record? Does all this have to be managed from a script level? My 'cancel' button to go back to the Main Layout is preempted by Filemaker's Error Dialog Message. Any info appreciated.
