Import/Export FM7 and Access

Hello

I lied. I do not yet have FM7, 6 or any othet FM.

I may find myself in faced with receiving Access files, having to modify them (make entries), and then having to return them. This will all have to happen in a totally transparent manner to the guy on the other end in the world of MS.

I will be a beginner to FM7 if it will do what I require. Can someone confirm that FM7 will do what I require without plugins, add-ons, etc. If these accessories are required who can supply them and are they flexible and simple to use?

One possibility is using a Windows simulator on the MAC. If I can avoid this it would be nice.

Please excuse the simple nature of my question. There are few Mac enthusiasts nearby to talk to.

Cheers

If it is an Access file, you'll need Access to use it. Access works OK in VirtualPC.

An alternative might be to get the person to send you the data as an Excel spreadsheet. You can then make the entries in Excel, then return it to them to import back into Access.

FM Migrator will be available for the Mac eventually; it's available for Windows now. With this you can go from Access to FM7 and back.
