Deep Thought II Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 does anyone know how to change FMSA's IWP port? do i do it in IIS? if so, how? right now it's default to port 80 and i don't want that...
transpower Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 On IIS: the file (probably) is C:HTTPDCONFHTTPD.CNF Change the HTTP port specification from 80 to something higher than 1024. Of course, it must not conflict with something else! You must tell your users to add a ":port_number" to their URL string.
Deep Thought II Posted October 13, 2004 Author Posted October 13, 2004 hmm, tho i didn't do it the file method, i finally found the support article on microsoft website. an odd thing to take note of is IWP doesn't seem to appear in the IIS manager website list. i have only one website under the list so i just changed that. luckily it worked, but suppose there are multiple websites... which one will IWP reside in? perhaps just the first one that's available?
