How does one access a "restricted access" layout. If the option to "Layout" is not allowed, is there a "back door". Thanks

If your priveledges don't allow you access to the layout or to the layout mode, the only way I know to get to the layout is through a acript, but if you don't have layout priveledges I imagine you don't have access to scripting either

I don't know if it would work, but worth a try is to go to the layout via a script and select the "Run with Full rights" option.

I have this problem too. I mistakenly set the file to open with the guest account, and now I can't seem to find a way to re-login with Admin privileges... does anyone have a solution to this?

Hold the option (on Mac) or shift (on Windows) key when opening the database - it will ask you for a user/password.
