clifford Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 i'm trying to upgrade our fms from 7.01 to 7.02 but i got the following error message during the upgrade process "error 1324 the folder path xxxxx (garbage characters) contains an invalid character" and the upgrade installer simply quit. does anyone know how to fix this problem. i've stopped the anti virus program in our win2000 advanced server and set the default language to english. regards, clifford
Wim Decorte Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 What is the true path to where FMS is installed? Did you try to re-download the updater?
clifford Posted November 4, 2004 Author Posted November 4, 2004 i extracted the zip file to a /temp folder and the true path of fms is in c:filemaker server. i also have filemaker developer installed on the same c: drive as filemaker developer. do you think this is the problem? i did not re-download the updater. would this make any difference? regards, clifford
