MarkWilson Posted November 4, 2004 Share Posted November 4, 2004 I am not a network guru, but I did experience a similar slow network problem. In my office, we run FileMaker 5.5 and most stations have a Windows 2000 Pro OS. My "server" is a desktop running Windows 2000 Pro. When I started to share the files, the network was quick and all FileMaker activity was very slow. I was able to solve the problem by creating a separate drive on the "server" and placing only our FileMaker files on it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
