can't import audio to win xp

i have a script that is supposed to import a reference to a sound file into a container field like this:

Go to Field [ContainerField]

Insert Movie []

it's a bit more elaborate that that, but that's the important stuff. doing this on windows XP exits the program just like that. i've done this on a mac and assumed it would work on windows also - what am i missing?

since no one has jumped in, i thought i'd show you my complete script in hope that the problem becomes more apparent. it would be great if someone would know why this script bombs FM on an XP system. works like a charm on a mac.
