Batfastad Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 So I took delivery of a new machine to run FileMaker Server for one of my clients today! (Server 5.5 and Windows 2000 Server) It's pretty good!! Two 10,000 RPM SATA drives striped gives it mental performance. What utils can I use to monitor performance of the server? Obviously taskmgr and the performance console of filemaker server gives you some filemaker server-specific stats. Just wondered what everyone else used to monitor their filemaker servers? Thanks Ben
Wim Decorte Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 The performance monitor built into Windows 2000 is more than adequate. Play with it for a while. The other important source of information are the event logs. You should have somebody look at them daily.
