Newbies smalco Posted November 19, 2004 Newbies Share Posted November 19, 2004 Hi, I just wanted to know whether sending of emails through filemaker is limited only to Outlook or whether an email client such as Pocomail can also be used. DykstrL Posted November 19, 2004 Share Posted November 19, 2004 When you use the Send Mail script step, FileMaker uses the default email client to create the email message. As long as the email client allows other programs to send mail it should work. No other setup within FMP is necessary. Either it works or it won't.
