I am not able to insert PDF into Container as quick time movie. FMP gives me an error 709 'The QuickTime Movie file could not be inserted. Make sure the movie has been saved as self-contained and playable on non-apple platforms (709)'

Any suggestion? many thanks in advance.

Can you play the QuickTime movie by itself in XP?

YES.

Have you tried inserting other QuickTime movies? This is to see if it's a problem with one particular movie, or all of them. Also, have you tried the sample file, sample.mov, from the Quicktime directory?
